NEURO360-aligned research led by Ganesh B. Chand, PhD, at WashU’s Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology is advancing the understanding of why some people with Alzheimer’s disease develop neuropsychiatric symptoms while others do not. Supported by a new four-year, $3.2 million NIH grant, Chand’s team is developing innovative AI and machine-learning tools to analyze large-scale imaging, behavioral, clinical, and genetic datasets—work that could pave the way for more precise diagnosis and treatment.
