One of the largest brain research centers in the world was dedicated near St. Louis on Thursday.
The Washington University Neuroscience Research Building is 11 stories tall and houses 120 research teams. These teams will advance diagnostics and treatment for Alzheimer’s disease, brian tumors, spinal cord injury, psychiatric illnesses and many other neurological conditions.
Governor Mike Parson attended the dedication. The building was recently completed. It holds enough steel to stretch 2,125 miles and was built with 6,500 truckloads of concrete. Read the entire article on the KSDK website by clicking here.
