Washington University School of Medicine reached a milestone this week on construction of its new neuroscience research building, a $616 million project set to open next year.
The building, at 4370 Duncan Ave. in the 200-acre Cortex Innovation Community, is on the eastern edge of the school’s medical campus. Construction began in spring 2020 on the 11-story, 609,000-square-foot building, which will be one of the nation’s largest neuroscience research buildings, officials said.
