St. Louis-based Washington University School of Medicine’s $616M neuroscience center, which began construction in spring 2020, has reached its structural completion, St. Louis Business Journal reported Aug. 11.

The 11-story, 609,000-square-foot neuroscience research building will house more than 100 research teams with 875 researchers focusing on Alzheimer’s disease, brain tumors, spinal cord injury and psychiatric illnesses, among other neurological conditions.
