NEURO360-aligned research at Washington University in St. Louis has been recognized on the global stage, with WashU named a Focused Ultrasound Center of Excellence by the Focused Ultrasound Foundation. Led by Hong Chen, PhD, and Jan Kubanek, PhD, this interdisciplinary effort is advancing noninvasive focused ultrasound technologies with promising applications for neurological disorders such as Parkinson’s disease, as well as chronic pain, depression, and PTSD—bringing innovative therapies closer to patients.
